We are excited to update on how our Co-producer programme is developing and need your help!
We mentioned in our last newsletter that we were holding some drop-in information and Q&A sessions in the next few weeks. As with all co-production, we are following a wiggly path and have been grappling with a few things so we would like to be open and involve you in these decisions before we open recruitment.
During the 'Associate Programme' workshops back in June/July this year, many of you discussed the Co-producer role, types of tasks, diverse skills and experience that we need for the next part of this journey together. We are committed to carrying out this process in line with our values (of being human, inclusive, transparent, challenging) and so the areas we feel we need to discuss further with the Collective community are:
Given these questions, we welcome the involvement in these discussions, of those interested in the role, and those who do not wish to apply but wish to continue as our valued members of the Collective community.
Please sign up via Eventbrite to join us for this drop in on:
Alternatively feel free to book your place by emailing us on coproduction@ucl.ac.uk.
You may find it helpful to refer to more information about this process in the following documents: the foundations detailed in the ‘working model’ document (available as PDF document and Word document) and please also have a read of our previous blog if you would like to. As a reminder our core aims are:
The initial Co-producer role (Oct 2022 – March 2023) will be about developing this model together.
If you are joining the co-creation sessions in a personal capacity, rather than in a paid role, then we can offer £25 if you drop in for part of the session, there isn't any pre reading required. If you have any questions or would like more information, please drop us a line: coproduction@ucl.ac.uk
If there is anything that we can do to make the session more enjoyable for you or easier to access please contact Vanessa for a chat about this v.bennett@ucl.ac.uk.
